Alex McDermand serves as a Senior Associate at Hyde Park Capital.
He supports the firm’s mergers and acquisitions, private capital raising and corporate finance efforts across a variety of industries. Mr. McDermand is a licensed CPA in Georgia. He is also licensed by FINRA and holds the Series 79 certification. Prior to joining Hyde Park Capital Mr. McDermand served in the assurance practice for Ernst and Young, conducting detailed financial statement audits for companies in the finance industry. He also worked as a valuation analyst, opining to the fair value of private businesses for various purposes including transaction consulting, ESOP consulting, and estate planning.
Mr. McDermand, a Jacksonville native, is a proud graduate of Florida State University’s College of Business where he graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Accounting, and Bachelor of Science in Finance.
Mr. McDermand is a true Floridian, enjoying golf, tennis, boating, and various other outdoor leisure activities in his spare time.
